1600 rounds of ammunition found in Montego Bay

LBC News understand that the Police are this morning investigating a major gun and ammunition find in Montego Bay, St. James.

Six guns and over 1600 rounds of ammunition were found at the Freeport Wharf in the parish.

The Police say the weapons were found sometime after 4:00 yesterday afternoon by detectives and the Customs Department.

The Preliminary information says no one was arrested in connection with the seizure.

This is the second major gun and ammunition find in the parish in just over a month at the Freeport Wharf.

Early last month the Police also recovered over 18-hundred rounds of ammunition.
