LBC NEWS ANALYSIS.
Phillip Paulwell, one, Peter Bunting nil. Thats the only takeaway that can come from the runoff between Brown-Burke and Smith Facey. While the runoff was pitched as a replacement for Portia Simpson Miller, it was more about the future of the PNP, after Peter Phillips. It was widely seen, as a battle between Peter Bunting and Phillip Paulwell. Paulwell is said to have become incensed by the fact that a Bunting ally could command the seat with the most delegates. Thats why Portia Simpson Miller came out and endorse Paulwell supporter, as she is said to prefer Paulwell as Leader when Peter goes.
Now that Paulwell has won the first round in this fight, it is going to contribute to even more instability in the PNP.
