Busy 48 hours for cops as they find more guns

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reporting the seizure of two more guns and ammunition in the last 48 Hours. 

One was found in Kingston while the other was found in crime riddle Westmoreland.

In Westmoreland a 9mm Glock 17 pistol and a magazine containing thirteen 9mm rounds were seized by the police in Russia, Savanna-La-Mar.

And in St. Andrew another 9mm, this time a Ruger P89BC and a magazine containing fourteen 9mm rounds were seized by the police on Delamere Avenue.

The police is not reporting any arrest in both finds. The police has recovered hundreds of illegal guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition since the start of year. Recently the Government rolled out it’s get the guns campaign whereby persons reporting on illegal guns can get a reward.
