Decomposing body of woman found in Hanover believed to be of a woman that went missing

The decomposing body of a woman, suspected to be that of missing Hanover woman Tasha Gordon, was discovered in the parish on Friday afternoon.

Gordon, a 30-year-old resident of a Cauldwell address, went missing on the evening in of Monday January 10, shortly after her boss, 36-year-old businessman Marvin McIntosh was shot and killed at his business establishment in Prospect in the parish.

The body was reportedly discovered about 2:30 pm, Friday.

The Hanover police estimate that the body has gone through more than two weeks decomposition.

The cops reported in January that a search team, consisting members of the JCF and residents, unsuccessfully combed the area where the body was found on Friday. The police during a search of a cane field, found $9,000 and a pair of slippers, belonging Gordon, days after her disappearance.
