Duncan-Pryce wins PNP rundown Garrison

Central Kingston will have a new standard bearer in the next general elections after Imani Duncan-Price won the runoff earlier this evening.

Pryce beat back the challenge of Raymond Pryce, Paul Buchanan, Donald Jackson,and Joan porteous.

Imani Duncan-Price – 242 votes
RaymondPryce – 174 votes
Paul Buchanan – 40 votes
Donald Jackson – 3 votes
Joan Porteous – 2 votes

Of 582 delegates, 461 delegates voted

The runoff became necessary as sitting long time MP, the Reverend Ronald Thwaites decided to quit representational politics.

The vote however was mired in controversy when the Raymond Pryce camp accused Duncan-Pryce of buying votes with her small buisness loan scheme. She denied the charges.
