State Minister in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce,Agriculture and Fisheries (MICAF), and Member of parliament for South Western St. Elizabeth Floyd Green, told party supporter’s that life is now much better under the governing Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), at the Pedro Plains Divisional Conference on Sunday.
Speaking to a clearly excited gathering of party faithful’s at the Newell High school in his constituency he contrasted life under the previous PNP administration to what it is now under the JLP.
He went on:
Turning to the condition that the Schools were in when he became Member of Parliament, he laid into the PNP, and touted how things are now much better under the stewardship of the Labour Party.
But he wasn’t finished yet as he chastise the PNP for slashing the Budgetary allocation given to the Ministry of Education in one year- that was savagely slashed by 2 Billion dollars. He said the Labour party has increased the Budget of the Ministry every year since taking office because the Labour Party knows the way to prosperity is through education.
Continuing to tout the record of the JLP on education, he had this to say
And staying true to his nickname “Minister Barber-Green”, he outlined his impressive record on road rehabiliation to rousing applause of the party faithfuls.
