The Electoral Division of Toll Gate in South Western Clarendon has been declared for Jamaica Labour Party candidate Radcliffe McDonald.

The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) made the announcement on Tuesday evening after the final count for the division.

McDonald tallied 1,503 votes to 1,502 votes for People’s National Party candidate Godfrey Knight, the EOJ said, noting that there were 23 rejected ballots.

The final count represents a reversal of the preliminary results which showed Knight tallying 1,503 votes to McDonald’s 1,502.

Counting, the EOJ said, continues in the other Electoral Divisions.
