JPS cut power to a couple parish

The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) has lost two generators totalling 41 Megawatts of power. At the same time Private Power Providers also has run into problems that has resulted in a combine lost of about 120 Megawatts of power to JPS.

The lost has caused JPS to engaged in load shedding activities that has seen outage in a number of parishes all across the country. JPS says it is currently engaged in repairing it’s generators and expect service to improve by tomorrow.
