Major Cabinet shakeup as Holness looks towards the future

Prime Minister Andrew Holness has shaken up his cabinet in a major reshuffle that see many old stalwarts reassigned to different areas of his government. 

Major changes are:

Former Finance Minister Audley Shaw will be the new Minister of Industry Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries. He replaces Karl Samuda who’s been appointed as Minister without portfolio responsibility in the Office of the Prime Minister, OPM.

Dr. HoraceChang been appointed the new Minister of National Security replacing Robert Montague who’s gone to the Ministry of Transport and Mining. Montague replaces Mike Henry who’s Minister without portfolio responsibility in the OPM.

Fayval Williams has been upgraded from State Minister to Minister without portfolio in the Finance Ministry.

Minister’s of State.

PearnelJr. has been shifted to Foreign Affairs Ministry.

AlandoTerrelongue to the Culture Ministry.

MP for South West, St. Ann, ZaviaMayne, has been assigned to the post of State Minister in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

Dr. Nigel Clarke is now the new minister of Finance and Planning.

Robert Montague is now Minister of Transport.

Former Agriculture Minister Karl Samuda and Former Transport Minister Mike Henry has being reassigned to the Office of the Prime Minister.

Rudyard Spencer is also heading to the Ministry of National Security.

All other Ministerial appointments remain the same according to Robert Nesta Morgan, Communication Director in the Office of the Prime Minister.
