Mayor Homer Davis tours Montego Bay Transport Center

On Friday November 15, 2019, His Worship the Mayor of Montego Bay, Councillor Homer Davis led a tour of the Montego Bay Transport Centre, along Barnett Street to look at ways in which the facility can be operated more efficiently

Accompanying Mayor Davis were Superintendent of Police in charge of St. James, Mr. Vernon Ellis, .Regional Operations Manager at the NSWMA (WPM), Garnett Edmonson, CEO of the StJMC, Mr. Gerald Lee, Commercial Services Manager at the STJMC, Pamella March, Director of Finance at the STJMC, Tamra Cunningham, Councillor Mark McGann and others.

During the tour, the team looks at ways in which a coordinated approach could be taken to address the challenges which are being experienced at the centre.

Some members of the group were also refreshed by the popular Jelly Coconut vendor known as “NECK TIE”
