A People’s National Party, PNP, Activist is accusing the Opposition party of cronyism and political sabotage in West Rural St. Andrew.
Rohan Banks was an aspirant MP candidate for the constituency.
But yesterday the party confirmed PNP Youth Organization President Krystal Tomlinson to vie for the seat against sitting MP, the Jamaica Labour Party’s Juliet Cuthbert Flynn.
Mr Banks says he was not considered by the party’s executive in the constituency, and there was no political run off to determine who’d represent the party in the seat.
Mr Banks notes that process was not necessary because as he puts it the constituency was unrecognized by the party due to the failures of the PNPYO.
Mr Banks says the party’s executive appoint persons who they can manipulate.
The Marketing Research Consultant and entrepreneur, says he’s confident he could win the constituency for the PNP.
