PNP spent almost 2 million US dollars on NIDS, with almost 1 Million spent on consultants

As the debate over the now struck down National Identification System (NIDS) and the PNP asking questions about the project, expenditure, Prime Minister Andrew Holness moments ago revealed that between 2011 and 2016, the then government spent 1.26 million US, (150 million Jamaican Dollars) on the NIDs project.

The then government spent 95,000USD on advertising. Tshirts were printed and advertising plans were done none of which were used. Of that 1.26 Million 641,000 USD was spent on consultants.
