Police bags Gun and ammunition in troubled August Town

A Snap Raid operation conducted by the Jamaica Defence Force and the Jamaica Constabulary Force resulted in the seizure of 239 assorted rounds of ammunition and a pistol magazine in August Town, St. Andrew on Wednesday, May 8.

No one was detained in connection with the seizure. The ammunition and magazine were taken to the August Town police station for processing.

The Security Forces continue to urge persons to call the confidential JDF TIP line at 876-837-8888 or Police 311.
