Police charge man for creating public mischief over Covid 19

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is reporting that the Westmoreland man behind viral voice note has been charged with creating public mischief.

He is Thirty Seven years old Zavian Patterson. He turned himself in to the police accompanied by his Lawyer.

Investigation by the police had implicated him as being the mastermind of a voice note falsely purporting a lock down of the parish of Westmoreland.

The police is reminding people to be responsible and not to spread fake news over the COVID-19 situation.
