Police find Narcotics in Clarendon

Clarendon, Jamaica

The Narcotics Police arrested two men for breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act in Clarendon on Monday, September 25.

Reports are that about 10:30 p.m., Narcotics Detectives were conduction anti-narcotics operations in the parish when they intercepted a white Toyota Probox in the vicinity of the May Pen toll plaza with two men aboard. The vehicle and both men were searched and cocaine weighing approximately half of a kilogram was found under the dashboard of the car. The drug has an estimated street value of JMD 640,000.

Both men are expected to be charged with Possession of Cocaine, Dealing in Cocaine, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Criminal Property and Conspiracy.

Investigation continues.
