Prime Minister to address the Nation on Crime

Kingston, Jamaica.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness is set to make an address to the Nation soon on crime.

Thats the word from the Minister of National Security, Robert Montaque. He made the comments while piloting the MOCA Bill now underway in Parliament.

He also pointed out that crime is costing Jamaica Billions of dollars, as it accounts for Five per cent of Jamaica’s Gross Domestic Product. He said that a united approach is needed to tackle crime as it affects us all.

He is currently speaking in Parliament.
