State Minister in the Ministry of Education and Youth Floyd Green, is warning that he has instructed his Lawyers to deal with persons who have been spreading lies on him.
In a release today the Member of Parliament for Southwestern St Elizabeth, says he had become aware of rumours circulating of him been in an altercation with someone after the Prime Minister’s Youth Awards on the 24th of November. He said: “that is not true.” He went on to state that at no time was he involved in any altercation with anybody.
He pointed out also that he does not own or carry a firearm.
Minister Green says over the years he has worked hard to protect his and his family’s good name. To that end he says he has contacted his Attorneys to make contact with the perpetrators of the lie.

Minister Floyd Green who is considered to be a rising star in the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has for sometime now been the target of many fake news and outright slander in the Constituency he represents.
Affectionately nicknamed Minister ‘Barber Green’ over the many road improvement ungoing in his Constituency, he is considered a tough candidate to beat in the next general elections. For that reason his Political opponents has targetted him, using whatever they can at their disposal.
This latest attempt at character assassination is just another in a line of spurious allegations levelled at Mr. Green, all in an attempt to destroy his reputation and prized the extremely important seat of Southwestern St Elizabeth from the Labour Party. One which will not work by any stretch of the imagination.
